A white linen shirt is the one you stop thinking about. It goes over shorts in January and under a jacket in June, and it never once asks you to plan around it.

Pure linen, washed before it was cut, so it arrives with the soft, broken-in handle that most linen only reaches after a season of wearing it. It moves and it lives in, which is exactly the look.

Sleeves rolled with linen shorts is the easiest version of it. Buttoned down with pants and a jacket is the other one, and it is the same shirt.

We cut this linen as a boxy shirt too.

Fabric and care
We wash and tumble dry every fabric before we cut it, so it is already preshrunk by the time it becomes a garment. Wash cold, under 30 degrees, and hang to dry rather than tumble drying, and it will hold its size.
