Refund policy

Exchanges

We would always rather exchange than refund, and we are not difficult about it.

You have 30 days to exchange a piece, as long as it is unworn, unwashed and still part of our current range. You can swap it for another size, another colour, or something else entirely.

If you are past 30 days, ask us anyway. If the piece has not been worn or washed and it is still in the current range, we will almost always allow it. We want you to wear and love what you bought.

You do not need a receipt or proof of purchase. If it is unworn and it is ours, we will help you.

In person

Exchanges can be done in person at our studio, The Palms Centre, 145 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock. It is the easiest way to do it, and you get to try things on properly while you are there. Give us a shout before you come so we can make sure someone is there for you.

If we do not have your size

Tell us and we will look. If we still have the fabric, we can usually make it for you. If the fabric is gone, we will show you what else we have in that cloth or find you something close. Our runs are short, so a sold-out size is not always the end of it.

Refunds

We handle refunds case by case. In most situations we can find a better outcome than money back: the right size, a different piece, or one made for you. Get in touch and we will work it out with you.

Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Return shipping

We ask that you cover the cost of returning an item to us for an exchange or a change of mind. Courier costs have climbed and as a small business we cannot absorb them on every return, so it is the one place we have to ask. We recommend using a tracked courier.

If we have sent you the wrong item, or something arrives faulty or damaged, that is on us. We will arrange and pay for the collection ourselves.

Faulty goods

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. If a garment fails because of a manufacturing fault, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it.

Alterations

Minor alterations are free, particularly on pieces bought at the studio. Anything more involved can be discussed and usually costs between R100 and R300. We have a machinist in-house.
