Holds a crease well, which on a pleated leg is the point. Deep enough to read almost formal, soft enough that it never does.

Fabric and care
We wash and tumble dry every fabric before we cut it, so it is already preshrunk by the time it becomes a garment. Wash cold, under 30 degrees, and hang to dry rather than tumble drying, and it will hold its size.
