A dark bouclé shot through with navy and cream nubs.

The name is literal. Up close there are flecks of cream and blue scattered across a near-black ground, and it's the most textured cloth we've put on this leg.

Keep the rest plain and let them speak for themselves.

• Barrel leg, wide through the thigh, curving in to a narrower hem just above the ankle
• Pull-on: fully elasticated waist with a drawstring, no button or zip
• Pleated front, slant side pockets, clean back
• Cellphone pocket inside the right-hand pocket, so your phone sits flat and stays put

Fabric and care
We wash and tumble dry every fabric before we cut it, so it is already preshrunk by the time it becomes a garment. Wash cold, under 30 degrees, and hang to dry rather than tumble drying, and it will hold its size.
