Marle linen has that slightly unfinished look that reads well without trying, and the flecks in the yarn are what stop it going flat.

Fabric and care
We wash and tumble dry every fabric before we cut it, so it is already preshrunk by the time it becomes a garment. Wash cold, under 30 degrees, and hang to dry rather than tumble drying, and it will hold its size.
